Description
A 2.3 mil white metalized print-treated polypropylene film coated with 207-4841 white pigmented acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive
on a smooth overlay liner. This film is designed to accept a variety of UV curable and solvent-based screen inks. May also be used
with flexographic, offset and letterpress inks but must be tested prior to use.
Applications
This product is designed as a low cost opaque overlaminating film for two-way decals. Film is
especially suited for use with clear low tack vinyl or static cling vinyl window decals.
Suggested use: (1) Print face down on a clear film. (2) Laminate barrier
Film over print. (3) Print face up image on top of barrier film.
Thickness
Film 2.3 mils.
Adhesive 0.8 to 1.0 mil.
Liner 4.0 mils.
(Thickness variance +/- 10%)
Dimensional Stability
Film can react to heat in processing. Use minimum temperature to cure ink as excessive heat may cause overlaminated sheet to curl. In the laminating process do not use excessive unwind tension or nip roll pressure as curl could result.
Temperature Ranges
Minimum application temperature +50°F.
Service temperature is -40°F to +200°F.
Expected Exterior Life
Limited.
Polypropylene has limited resistance to UV exposure.
Test fully for any extended outdoor use.
